The expected family contribution (EFC) determined as a result of filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be
adjusted only in cases of very special circumstances. These circumstances could include death, disability or unemployment of a wage
earner, major unreimbursed medical expenses and, in some cases, divorce or separation of parents. If your family experiences
such a change, call our office at 412-624-7488 and ask that a Financial Aid Special Conditions form be mailed to you. You
