The National SMART Grant provides grants of up to $4,000 for each of the third and fourth academic years of study. To
be eligible for each academic year, a student must be a U.S. citizen, a federal Pell Grant recipient, enrolled
full-time in a four-year degree program with a federally identified major in physical, life or computer science,
engineering, mathematics, technology, or a critical foreign language and have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.0
on a 4.0 scale.
All potentially eligible students are automatically considered and reviewed by the financial aid office based on the
results of the FAFSA.
