 Admissions & Financial Aid

Declining or Decreasing a Loan

If you decide that you want to decline or decrease a loan awarded to you, you will need to complete a Loan Change Request and send it to the Financial Aid Office. Once we receive this form, we will cancel or adjust your loan according to your request. You will be notified in writing that the change has been made.

Mid-year Grade Level Changes

If a grade-level change occurs (e. g. from sophomore to junior) between semesters, you may be eligible for additional loan funds through the Stafford Student Loan program. If you want your new eligibility to be reviewed, you should complete a Loan Change Request and return it to the Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office will review your request, make any adjustments that apply and notify AES/PHEAA that you want additional loan funds.

Please be aware that your loan eligibility may be limited by maximums allowed for specific enrollments, grade level, academic year limits and/or aggregate loan total to date.
