If you are a first time borrower at the University of Pittsburgh under the Stafford Student Loan program, you are
required to complete an Entrance Interview before your loan funds can be disbursed to your student account. You will need
to complete the Entrance Interview requirement even if you have done so at a previous school. This requirement can be met
online at the
Student Financial Services website and
clicking on PHEAA Entrance Counseling.
