Why study business?
In today's competitive society, it's important to set yourself apart--to develop a portfolio of skills which includes
strong academics, internship experience, and solid leadership skills.
A business management education can be an important asset. Business students
develop impressive analytical, communication, and problem-solving
skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of the field of business
and its key functional areas. Graduates are well prepared
for careers in accounting, finance, marketing, consulting,
human resources, and many other areas--as well as graduate
programs like law and business.

With Honors . . .
The University
Honors College (UHC) offers courses in business, economics,
mathematics, and other areas of interest to CBA students.
UHC courses are designed to be more challenging than regular
classes and to give students a broader perspective on the
subject matter. UHC courses usually are smaller and are more
like a seminar than a lecture. The UHC also provides an honors
degree option that requires students to do an independent
research project and defend their thesis before a faculty
review panel.
